[FIRST NAME GOES HERE], keep in mind the Chancenkarte

Hi Reader,
Hope you are well. We are in December now somehow already. What challenges have you faced recently more than ever in your job search?
I've been spending a lot of time with my current clients, a couple more are looking hopeful to get a job this month. The job market is as tough as ever.
Usually when job openings are increasing towards the end of the year, this year, the job numbers have been declining.
We're at the lowest number of available jobs in the past year and the vacancy times are at a high point. This showcases the frustration you're understandably going through now. I see it with my clients too.

I was recently speaking with a journalist for an article about the Chancenkarte; one year after the changes in some of the laws came into place to help with skilled immigration.
Here is what I reminded her about the benefit of the Chancenkarte.
It's so hard to secure a job right now, it makes the opportunity to come to Germany with the Chancenkarte for one year and look for work, even more beneficial.

Requests for the Chancenkarte (opportunity card) are increasing. It's a great opportunity says Kevin Kocher. With his company, Immigrant Spirit LLC, he helps skilled workers immigrate to Germany. „Jetzt kann man zuerst hierherkommen und sich vor Ort auf Jobs bewerben und das macht einen großen, positiven Unterschied. Persönlich Händeschütteln, das sei erfolgversprechender als Video-Interviews. Es sende die Nachricht: Der Bewerber hat so starkes Interesse, dass er auf eigene Kosten nach Deutschland kommt, um einen Job zu finden."
English: "Now you can come here to Germany first and apply for jobs, which makes a big positive difference. Being able to shake hands and talk to someone in real life builds more trust than zoom interviews. It sends the message: the applicant has such a strong interest, that they use their own funds to come to Germany to find a new job." The main issue for Kocher being the overall number of jobs in Germany decreasing, and still an unwillingness to be flexible or patient with someone who needs to learn the language during probation time. Most jobs without at least B1 German, you don't get a chance.
Nothing revolutionary in what I said, I know. But rather another reminder to increase your chances right now by at least checking your eligibility and applying for the Chancenkarte. Why not?
I am here to assist. I have opened the upcoming February course, and I still have 7 seats left.
If you come to Germany next year while you are already speaking with hiring managers every week, this increases your chances significantly.
Remember in the article I wrote earlier this year about the pros and cons: If you want to arrive on the Chancenkarte, you really should already have conversations ongoing, so you can setup those impactful meetings in person.
Please send me a mail if you are interested to join.
Kind regards,
Kevin
